You’ll never change your life until you change something you do daily. The secret to success is found in your daily routine. – John C. Maxwell
MEAL PREP
There are many ways to meal prep, which is just a popular way of planning and preparing your meals in advance. It is a great time saver, money saver, and is an excellent way to make sure that you are in control of the nutrition you are putting in your body. It can make late evening training sessions or longer competition weekends more successful. Look into the different ways to meal prep and find recipes that work for you. Choose a meal prep that is easy and efficient, and keep your focus on your training, instead of the old question, “What do I want to eat for dinner, again?”
SET PRACTICE TIMES
Along with your scheduled classes, you’ll want to schedule times to practice. Having a schedule that includes your own personal practice, with a partner or solo, is a must. For every one hour of class, you should aim for one hour of practice as a minimum standard. If that is too hard to do for whatever reason, start with at least 30 minutes, no less than, and build up time, intensity, and quality from there! Schedule your practice between the days you have your classes. Use a calendar and hold yourself accountable to follow the plan. If you stay with it, your martial arts will dramatically improve.
REGULAR CHORES
This is important, in order to be able to enjoy your martial arts training, like Pai Lum White Dragon Martial Arts, you’ll have to be on top of your regular chores. Though this is something most of us strive for anyway, it becomes important to stay on top of your chores so you are free to focus on your training, and then you won’t ever have to miss class because of something like laundry, yard work, grocery shopping, or even paying bills.
OVERALL
